Mauldin High School (MHS) is the largest high school in Greenville County, with over 2,300 students enrolled. For the past eight years, MHS has sponsored charities during our annual Spirit Week. Our student body has been responsible for building homes, refurbishing a shelter for battered women and children, and providing funds for medical research throughout Greenville. We have raised more than $500,000 over the years because of our partnerships with local businesses and community leaders.
This year we have chosen to partner with The Beach Ball Foundation, a local charity whose mission is "changing the lives of children through education and the arts." Together, we have selected Pendleton Place Children's Shelter as the major benefactor for the 2010 Spirit Week:
